Checklist: are you ready for an AI project?
The questions we ask in the first days of every Assessment, in a form you can use on your own before talking to us. You don't need to answer yes to everything — you need to know where you stand, to show up prepared.
The checklist
Five areas — the same ones we work through in an Assessment: process, data, systems, constraints and objective.
The process
- You've identified a specific process, not a generic area — "reconciling incoming payments" is a process, "accounting" is not
- You know how often it recurs each month and how much time it absorbs today
- You know who runs it day to day and who is accountable for it
The data
- You know where the documents or data the process uses actually live — PDFs, email, databases, scans
- You know whether they are structured, semi-structured or fully unstructured
- You have a representative sample you could share for a test
The systems
- You know which systems are involved — ERP, CRM, records management, DMS, database
- You know whether an API already exists, or whether one would need to be built
- You know who in IT can give you read access to the systems involved
Constraints and security
- You know whether the process handles personal or sensitive data
- You know whether it needs on-premise data residency, or sector-specific constraints
- You have a security contact or DPO to involve, if needed
Objective and measurement
- You know what you want to improve — time, errors, search, compliance, operating capacity
- You have an indicator, even a rough one, of your starting point
- You know who will decide whether the project worked, and by what criterion

We'll send it by email, so you have it on hand instead of coming back to this page.
Did you answer most of these?
You're in the right position for an Assessment: two weeks to find out whether, where and how to act on that process.
